SERVICE COMITTMENTS as of 11/1/2011

Our service areas have been altered due to the closing of our Garland, Texas (Dallas) terminal, our partnership with Northwest Furniture Express in the Pacific Northwest and our intention to partner with American West in California.

Here is an overview of the changes:

  • WWL WILL MAINTAIN OUR CALIFORNIA TERMINALS AND RELATED INTRASTATE PICKUP & DELIVERY STRUCTURE THROUGH THE END OF 2011.
  • WWL WILL MAINTAIN OUR CALIFORNIA TERMINALS AND RELATED PICKUP & DELIVERY STRUCTURE IN ARIZONA & NEVADA THROUGH THE END OF 2011.
  • WWL HAS CLOSED THE GARLAND (Dallas), TEXAS FACILITY EFFECTIVE 10/30/2011.
  • WWL HAS DISCONTINUED SERVICE TO CANADA.
  • WE HAVE EXPANDED DIRECT LTL SERVICE FROM OUR MORGANTON, NC FACILITY
  • ALL OTHER OPERATIONS ARE “BUSINESS-AS-USUAL”. INCLUDING THE TERMINALS IN TUPELO, MS; ORLANDO, FL; JEFFERSON, WI; MORGANTON, NC; AND MARTINSVILLE, VA. AND FREIGHT MOVEMENT TO THE NORTHEAST, MID-ATLANTIC, FLORIDA/SOUTHEAST, MIDWEST, AND DEEP SOUTH REGIONS.

HERE ARE THE DETAILS BY REGION OF ORIGIN:

Northwest Furniture Express Acquires Puyallup Terminal Worldwide Logistics will continue to pickup freight on the west coast for delivery to and from the current service areas covered by the Riverside, Stockton and Puyallup terminals.   Specifically:
  • Pickups in the Pacific Northwest United States of Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Idaho for delivery within the current service areas covered by the Riverside, Stockton and Puyallup terminals will be executed through the close of business on November 30th, 2011.
  • Pickups in California and the service area of the Riverside and Stockton, CA terminals for delivery in the Pacific Northwest Unites States of Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Idaho will be executed through the close of business on November 30th, 2011.
